Donald Trump has COVID-19 and the importance of chart rulers

Here's your most basic astrology 101 lesson. Learn it, love it, remember it. It will never fail you in life because it is the keystone in a chart.

YOUR CHART RULER. WHICH IS IT?

HERE IS A RECTIFIED CHART FOR DONALD TRUMP.

If he actually had Leo rising, his chart ruler would be the Sun at 22 Gemini. With both his election to office and this onset of COVID-19, these are both life changing events. And given how little he cares about anything in his life, even his marriages and the birth of his children wouldn't be seen as life changing for him since he probably didn't see them as priorities and certainly didn't let any of that change his plans or life goals. But election to the office of President? That has certainly impacted his how he operates in life. COVID-19? Definitely a life changing condition right now. These two things can be used as the first items in a list of things to rectify his chart. That, and perhaps his father dying and/or his brother dying but given what we know about him, start with Presidency and Covid first since we can actually SEE what is happening here.

BUT HE IS SO SUN/URANUS IN GEMINI ! 

HOW CAN HE NOT BE LEO RISING?

You cannot discount the strength of planets in various configurations. If you have heavily aspected planets in the 1st or 10th house, those planets (and their associated hard aspect planets) are going to DOMINATE your chart in visibility. The 10th house is what the public sees at a distance. It is what everyone who does not know you personally can or will see. 

Sun/Uranus in 10th house? Weird or odd appearance. Eccentric. Rule breaking. Twitchy. Fidgety. Shocking. Flying in the face of social conventions. Uncouth. Marching to the beat of your own drummer. Surrounded by Uranian things (tech, gadgets, sociopaths, or bizarre, extreme and/or random personalities). Fear, resistance to getting soaked (wet) - this will include sitting in baths but you wouldn't see that unless you lived with them. Unstable leadership. Pathological aversion to being weighed down with more obligation or responsibility than absolutely necessary.  Possible passionate pursuit and delight in spying, gossip, or scandal as profession.

Sun/Uranus in the 1st house? Creative. Rebellious or Oppositional Defiance Disorder. ADD/ADHD level attention span. Rude. Insensitive. Unsentimental. Contrarian. Genius or just crazy. Constantly poking and testing you (either physically or psychologically) to assert dominance, or just to entertain themselves. Easily bored. Weird habits. Fear, resistance to getting soaked (wet) - this will include sitting in baths but you wouldn't see that unless you lived with them. Heart dysrhythmias. Difficulty reading social cues (Asperger type issues). Dislike of too much physical contact. Claustrophobic. Dislike of wet, squishy things. Pleasure in cracking, clicking, explosive, snapping things. These kids love making things burst or animals/people jump.

And do you see where they are similar and where they are different from each other based on their house position? In both cases, these traits will be DOMINANT in their expression. This is NOT the same thing as seeing their chart ruler.

In both cases, there is a distinct coldness when it comes to dealing with people in emotional crisis. It can range from being hyper-rational in response to being completely unsympathetic if they think you have somehow created this problem yourself, or worse, if it is obvious to them that this is all a dramatic ploy for attention. 

The irony here is that the planetary combination most well known for dramatic behavior (because it is often completely against the acceptable social grain and not because they are frustrated stage hogs and you can't help but notice them) are also the least sympathetic or tolerant of high drama hijinks on the part of other people. They see right through it and will call you on your behavior, every time.

This trait will be softened or galvanized by the other planetary combinations in their chart. You either end up with someone who is a genius at handling a crisis because they don't get sucked into the unnecessary BS and become paralyzed by it OR you get someone who is a flaming asshole that will have no problem throwing you into the bowels of an active volcano as a sacrifice to the Gods for the greater good (of everyone else). Outer planets are difficult to integrate into the normal world sphere. Interpret them carefully because when they are active or activated in an individual chart, they are transpersonal and that means for many of them, they are trans-channeling something well beyond simple mortal considerations. You don't want to piss off the Gods. You see what happened to the last guy standing too close to a volcano.

Let's go back to the chart. His chart ruler is either Sun at 22.56 Gemini or it is Mercury at 8.52 Cancer.

If you go back to the inauguration, his first tweet was the day his MERCURY was aspected significantly. The Sun was never touched at this time. In fact, if you look at MANY events involving aspects to his Sun... nothing happened. But look at major events and what was triggering his Mercury.... astrology is about timing, above and beyond everything else. The clock doesn't care about your need to be right. The celestial train runs on time and on schedule so stop trying to play-doh stretch chart interpretations to fit when it is obvious the time table is off. 

The most recent and important event of his life is the COVID-19 infection AND the airlift to Walter Reed Hospital given EXPERIMENTAL drugs. This is not something that needs to be done unless this is a life threatening, last resort situation for anyone in the WH, especially the President. EXPERIMENTAL DRUG TREATMENT. Let those words sink in. The President doesn't get to decide if this is a recommended course of action. Medical professionals decide that. He only gets to accept or decline the offer and NO medical professional in the world is going to experiment on a President for grins and giggles.

The date that this happened? October 2, 2020. 

Note that Trump's tweet about his COVID positive status went out when 22 Cancer was rising on the chart. This activates his natal Venus/Saturn conjunction at 25/23 Cancer in his 11th house.

Venus rules his 10th house of reputation and profession. It also rules his 3rd house of communications.

Saturn rules his 6th house of physical health, it also rules his 5th house of children and his physical heart. 

As much as I would like to agree that this is a well timed and strategic "health crisis" being performed, in this instance the stars indicate to me that this really is real. The boy who cried wolf is now staring into the snarling jaws of a real wolf about to teach him a lesson about lying to people for personal entertainment.

The transiting North Node is at 23 Gemini on his Sun at 22 Gemini (and North Node at 20 Gemini). In combination with their close conjunction proximity to an angular Uranus, I am going to bet you good money that he will have issues with cardiac dysrhythmias exacerbated by valvular inflammation or dysfunction. Time will tell and I would expect some notice about his health status on approximately October 4, 2020 (tomorrow as of this writing).

CHART RULERS! WHERE ARE THEY AND WHAT GOOD ARE THEY?

If he is Leo rising, the Sun is his chart ruler. Find the aspects to his sun that would reflect this day as critical. You are the astrology student or self proclaimed professional, find it. 

If he is Virgo rising, Mercury is the chart ruler. Find the aspects to his Mercury that would reflect the day as critical. Well, lordy! Look at that! The transiting Sun (which rules his natal 12th house of illness, hospitals, secrets, self undoing, secret enemies and karma) is SQUARE Mercury, the chart ruler.

Astrology derives its value from accuracy of timing. That's what we call predictions. When you are looking at chart, everything comes down to combinations of things but first, foremost and always there is a foundation that everything must stand on or it will not stand the test of time.

Your Sun/Moon/Ascendant are considered the gospel trinity in astrology but the ascendant is actually about your ascendant ruler (chart ruler). Look at your chart again. What does your ascendant ruler tell you about you? Go back and look at times in your life when your chart ruler was activated or aspected? What was significant about those times in your life? The chart ruler (ascendant ruler) is THE most important foundation of a chart.

Look at Trump's chart with Mercury as his chart ruler. What does that tell you about him now? Remember, as long as his Sun/Uranus is angular and especially in the 10th house, it is going to dominate his expression. 

 He could be mild mannered, passive Pisces rising but with Sun/Uranus in the 10th? He will still come off as a bit of a weirdo, a provocateur, a rebellious anarchist who tosses the match onto the gasoline tanks as he passes by... but with a smile and delicate grace that would have you seeing a gentle florist instead of a terrorist saboteur. Put that Pisces rising ruler, Neptune in the sign of Sagittarius? They would probably be able to almost convince you that they were doing YOU a favor, not a deliberate disservice.

Chart rulers matter. And Donald Trump's chart ruler is Mercury, not the Sun.

Will Donald Trump live out his term or die in office?

The better question is are you going to get off your chair and go vote the entire rancid party of enablers who brought this hell on earth to us out of office? The same enablers who are ACTIVELY attempting to disassemble the Affordable Care Act and ALLOW AGAIN THE ABILITY OF INSURANCE COMPANIES TO DENY YOU COVERAGE IF YOU HAVE A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION (which always included being pregnant before you signed on with that insurance company and will now also include being covid-19 positive but surviving it). Will this man live or die in office? I will let the folks who insist he is Leo rising also have that conversation with you. 

There is a phenomenon that has shown time and time again, that the more invested someone is an idea, outcome or thing - the more stubbornly they will cling to it as truth and the harder they will work to justify it so they don't have to admit they are wrong. This is even MORE true if this was a publicly made statement or position taken, and dramatically MORE true if their reputation rests on this statement or position.

Sometimes we can be wrong. Especially when all our peers are wanting to believe the same thing. In the final count though, some things are obvious and beyond a doubt. The critical timing value of a chart (ascendant) ruler when it comes to having an accurate chart is obvious. The importance of getting it right, even if everyone around you humiliates and harrasses you for openly disagreeing with them... well, if you know you are right because it is that obvious, don't let the herd gaslight you into thinking you are wrong. Time will reveal who has the egg on their face.
