September 2020 Monthly Horoscope

In a fitting tribute to the man who discovered the principles of vaccinations (among other things) and is best remembered for his remarkable breakthroughs in the causes and prevention of diseases, the quote that best describes September also originated from him.  

This is Louis Pasteur. He has given us many things that have allowed us to still be here on the planet today.

Its an uplifting read that will help reinforce any optimism you have left in the face of despair. THEIR conditions and prognosis for their futures were MUCH worse than ours and life gave them Louis. We still have a chance! Yeah, science and nerds!

Sidebar: What a hot 'zaddie', right? For those who are out of the slang circuit, apparently "zaddie" means, "A fine, handsome and sexy ass intelligent man that makes you smile and drip every time you see him. He knows how to handle business in and out of the bedroom. You low key want to have his baby! He makes all parts of you excited including your mind. He smells good, looks good and is good!" (Urban dictionary = zaddie) I must be getting older when cranky looking chemists who are aging like a fine redwood tree are more appealing than a K-pop boy band member. And let's not kid ourselves. Those k-[p[ boy band members are pretty darn cute!  .... sorry, distracted. Back to the astrology. LOL

Watch these dates:
September 2, 3 and 4, 2020. These are highly active, personal days that could represent tipping points in your personal affairs. Read below to make sense of what you could be seeing.

This month starts with a full moon at 10° Pisces and luckily for all of us, it is receiving lots of wonderful support from Uranus, reinforcing the hidden message that there is divine intervention and angelic protection operative around this time, no matter how bad it might appear on the surface. Because of this, we start out with a serendipitous, productive month. It may not feel like it on the surface for some folks, but take a deep breath when the "B.S. hits the fan" and count to 10 while you step back to compose yourself. There's opportunity, protection and some precious revelations that could be game changers hidden in these moments of "Oh crap, are you kidding me?" Some folks would call that luck. Others might call it serendipity. I call it a golden ticket if you are paying attention because only the folks paying attention to everything beyond the immediate inconvenience or problem will see the bigger picture you are peeking through the curtains at.

The Sun and Mercury are both in Virgo. In fact, Mercury is blessedly and happily in Virgo and now close enough to make positive motion to those Capricorn planets (starting the middle of August but we didn't start feeling its benefits until the last week of August). This first week, she approaches her final aspect to Saturn and Venus, allowing her designs or plans to gracefully and quietly fall into place to make long term or permanent improvements for everyone. This includes you, even if you were the unfortunate recipient of some bad juju that is making you question if the Universe really IS out to get you. The benefits received right now might not be an 11th hour pardon but a clear, panoramic revelation of who or what you are dealing with. Knowing where the root of the problems are is the first and most important part of handling them. Remember that and it will serve you well in life.

The Sun in Virgo supports this sweeping, optimistic statement with its trine to Uranus at the same time. Remember, among the many other exciting, explosive, abrasive and shocking things we like to assign to Uranus - it is still the planet of breakthroughs and honesty. It is the lightning strike in the darkness that for a fast moment, illuminates the entire area around you that was previously hidden from your view in darkness and chaos. All these planets together (Sun, Mercury. Uranus, Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter and Venus as a supportive assistant) will give you a flash of insight that could well protect or benefit you otherwise later on down the road here. Pay attention because it is only an unexpected flash, not the dawning of a new day that will give you fresh eyes on things. Remember, "Luck favors the prepared". 

While this is happening, we have a high wattage t-square between Venus, Saturn and Mars at the same time. In fact, Mars is making a retrograde station as we speak (official on September 10, 2020) and really putting a fine point on the needle for whatever information or insight is being tossed into our lap at this time! Tensions are a little high this first week of September as folks try to implement needed reforms or changes with an urgency or pressure to get make it perfect and smooth in execution so things can move on to the next step in their journey. For the most part, it should be successful and any glitches right now are opportunities to tweak and safeguard against bigger problems later. Don't despair! Repair!

When the station retrograde is official on September 10.2020 it will occur at 28° Aries. This puts Mars at the very end of a sign AND without any relationship to any other planet until it changes signs. This will leave it spinning its wheels the entire time. Mars will be all fueled up with nowhere to go and no way to get anything done because it is stranded and alone for a few weeks. 

Mars in Aries stationing retrograde right now is its own special issue.

This isn't date specific as much as it is Mars retrograde specific so once the supportive aspects have moved on and we are only left with Mars making its retrograde station, that's when we feel Mars being... a special kind of Mars. 

But what does this mean for you?

Expect alot more mechanical problems with physical things, socially, expect to see more force being brought to bear to situations than might be necessary or understandable and personally, for those folks struggling with inflammatory or muscular issues, an increase in problems associated with increased inflammation, spams or tears. Cool off, cool down and dial the intensity back is the best remedy to avoid the worst of these things now.

The most prevalent thing will be alot of old grievances and power plays running rampant among the weakest of the group. Weak can mean anything from the ones who are the most vulnerable because of their lack of power in a situation or the ones with the least amount of ground to stand on who previously had more power and are watching it slip out of their hands... and not liking it, one bit.

Expect great gnashing of teeth and beating of chests with more than a few folks displacing or misplacing their anger, resentment or frustration on anything within reach and with a dramatic flourish and intensity that you see in these automobile displays of "drifting" which is a really fancy kind of spinning your wheels. 

Click video above to see "drifting". If you look at this and mutter to yourself, "What the hell is wrong with these people (that they do this)?" or "Whoa! I wish I could do that!", you will be experiencing a preview of how this Mars retrograde is going to feel like for a few weeks until it finally connects with other planets to give it a purpose and meaning that makes sense to everyone else. Lots of dramatic display, inexplicable motivations and no real results to show for it except entertainment for other folks or emergency rescue work for others.


The week of September 6-12 is a powerhouse week so watch for developments! Mercury will enter Libra, Venus will enter Leo and Jupiter will bring up the rear of this celestial party crashing by stationing direct at 17 Capricorn

The key planets this week are also conjunct some impressive fixed stars by the time we get to the Jupiter direct station. Mercury will be conjunct Vindemiatrix, the fixed star called the 'Widow Maker'. Venus will be conjunct the fixed star Asellus Borealis, also affectionately called (by me) 'the Stubborn Asses', and Mars will be conjuct Al Pherg (the divine cord) while Jupiter makes its station on Rukbat, the knee of the goat.

In brief, I would look for events that involve issues of resources, wealth and wealthtwealth acuisition to come into open view and heated discussion about decisions that have been or must be made at this time (Remember, Mars has *just* stationed retrograde and is now moving backward and basically "spinning its wheels". 

There is also the possibility of more catastrophic loss at this time, although it would appear to be man-made, not Nature given. It is not unthinkable that banging the drums of war as a form of intimidation or control of the masses through fear is on the agenda for folks in power with self serving agendas.

Any blockages in the efforts of world leadership (or in your personal life) at this time are most likely a form of divine intervention and angels setting up road blocks to prevent "rushing in where angels fear to tread". Take these setbacks and delays seriously and treat them like the divine warnings they are. Short term, superficial gains can make long term losses you will never recover from. Just ask King Midas about how he learned that painful lesson. Of note, the connection to asses appears in the Midas story as well. There is also great news too! 

Once Venus enters Leo on September 7th, 2020, it will be making a more harmonious, sympathetic connection to Mars so there is the possibility that romantic dalliances will be on an upswing and more successful after this date. The Sun in Virgo remaining in a supportive trine to those Capricorn planets should give men (and male identifying people) of all ages a generous confidence boost that is based on their effectiveness, work ethic and ability to make decisions without wavering.

If you are looking for someone to love of the masculine variety, acknowledging and complimenting them on these qualities will be well received by your heart throb. If you are of the masculine variety and looking for a chance to make an impression, continue embodying these traits because people are noticing. :-)

The New Moon at 24 Virgo on September 17 2020 promises upbeat, optimistic news coming to everyone at some level. This new moon gives us a new cycle and chance to plant seeds of real improvement and change for long term gains and protections. Look for the days around this new moon from the 15th to the 19th to be particularly packed with potential action.

September 22 and 23rd will be the best day of the month to take chances, pray for miracles, ask for help or pay it forward to help build spiritual insurance in your own life. The grand trine in fire signs with the moon in Jupiter's sign will give that ornery Mars a helpful, likeable job to do and can propel efforts much farther than expected. So much farther than expected that you should be prepared for the whatever you do, start, plant, initiate, etc around this time to move faster, grow bigger or loom larger than you might be able to imagine. 

Choose your bets carefully, right now. Easy come is also easy go. Whatever you do will do better when using the last of that Virgo-Capricorn paired energy and making this a calculated risk, not a leap of faith based solely on optimism and desire.

By the time we get to the end of the month,  Mars will be connecting with Saturn and we will finally stop spinning our wheels and actually start getting some work done. 

Expect serious momentum to be generated accompanied by some serious resistance as any weak spots reach their breaking point right now and face permanent obsolescence. Hard work is on the agenda but with Venus remaining in trine to Mars, we should still all find it a rewarding kind of hard work and a statement of vigor, vitality and value that we are able to participate in the hard work. Passion of the mind is one thing but without passion in participation, its all just... spinning our wheels. And by this time, we will all have had quite enough of that time wasting.
