This month is going to be full of all sorts of surprise developments that will give a preview of what will heavily factor into our summer months.
Right behind these two countries, look for Scotland (Moon 3 Virgo - Jupiter 7-Gemini) to have positive surprise contributions that surprise them too. I expect this will have to do with research and development (I am guessing that it will be in terms of our current pandemic) involving aquatic flora (seaweed, spirulina, etc)
Countries that should pay heed to developments this month because it won't be positive or easy are: the USA (chart dependent - Sibly Venus 3 Cancer), England (Pluto 3 Pisces).
The USA can expect to see a cosmic warning shot being fired about the state of affairs both socially and economically here for the summer months ahead. Downturns are expected by qualified experts who specialize in economics and meta-social policy research. You don't need an astrologer or psychic to predict the actual measurement and scale of this symbolic elephant in the room. However, astrology is confirming it so prepare yourself for a lean summer now while you still have a chance to cut back by choices, not demands.
England will continue to have its own repeating problems with neighboring countries and sibling nations, Scotland and Ireland. "Documentation" of visitors and travelers in and out of England may become a major source of problems and conflict right now. I don't know what this means in practice so let's see how it plays out. Again, if you have any info that will help the rest of us understand what the playing field is like out there right now, please share.

In fact, when we consider what is coming up, especially here in the USA - go to the December horoscope and review the major alignment in Capricorn we had. It is being activated again this month and in June and its themes are all tied together.
I am also not going to talk about the 'Let's All Die Together Suicide Protestors' (instead of bombs strapped to their chests, they have semi-automatic weapons and viral pandemics to indiscriminately share with everyone to kill us all) that have been clamoring across the official government offices this month.

All loaded to the teeth with firearms and virulent ignorance and hatred for everyone who isn't them. I won't even point out the redundant obvious fact about "if a group of minorities pulled this stunt" what would happen or even the pathetic joke in a protestor carrying signs like this. I will, however, mention them because... well, some things you couldn't believe without proof. Unlike #IBelieveTara and the #MeToo movement, there's nothing unusual or untoward about NOT wanting to believe THIS actually happened. This and UFO's. What next? Big Foot goes full on brazilian waxing and starts walking among us?

May 7, 2020 - Full Moon: 15 Scorpio
Fixed Star: Zuben Elgenubi
Sabian Symbol: Scorpio 15°: Children playing around five mounds of sand.
In my experience, (YMMV), Sabian symbols have an almost literal quality to them, along with their deeper, hidden symbolic messages. Since we are coming up to "beach" season here in the USA, the literalness of this symbol for the full moon is not lost. The problem is that it is joined with a particularly sinister fixed star, Zuben Elgenubi which promises nothing short of tragedy and mightily high prices to pay in the turning of karmic wheels of justice.
Its original Arabic name is "The Insufficient Price".
Meaning: whatever price you paid before you arrived in this life, situation, circumstance didn't cover the whole of what must be paid. A reckoning is issued with this fixed star to balance your accounts and you don't have a choice in the matter. It is time for collections on the debts to bring everything back to balance.
Together with the sabian symbol describing children on a beach for a full moon occurring now during a pandemic, the gruesome penalty cost being paid may be at the expense of younger children's lives. All because their siblings and/or parents refused to heed science and wear masks, observe social distancing or stay home a little while longer because the warm weather made them more impatient and self absorbed with Spring Fever than usual.
"There is also an indication of danger coming about in connection with water." - Ebertin. Remember this because there is an important Sabian symbol that comes up when we look at Saturn this month too.
The other side of this, of course, is that this could herald a major scientific breakthrough. The five mounds of sand indicates both the five senses of man as well as time (grains of sand are units of time and measures of our individual lives in the grand scheme and epoch of things). Children playing symbolizes curiosity and experimentation. This is the foundation of a scientific mind. The difference between a scientist and an artist is the process along the way to the outcome. Scientists catalogue data carefully. They attempt to replicate with exact redundancy, an outcome to prove that something is a standard and not an accident or fluke. Artists might catalogue their process but their end goal is the unique message, not repeating it to prove the truth of its existence. Both require a dissatisfaction with just accepting what is given to them as reality and irrefutable or unexplainable. This mentality is what drives art AND science forward and may be what brings us to a breakthrough with this full moon or a few weeks later. I would look for South Korea to be the shining star in this, if this happens.
We shall see and it won't take long to wait. Let's focus on best possible outcomes.
May 14: Quarter Moon 24 Aquarius
This particular day has a cluster of fixed stars in attendance, too many to go into but certainly making this a potent day to witness. For simplicity sake, we will stay with the sabian symbol for the quarter moon.
Sabian Symbol: Aquarius 24: A man turning his back on his own passions teaches from deep wisdom from his experience.
This symbol can be confusing for people who haven't lived long enough to arrive at this place in their development to have this experiences. Like fruit, time and maturity are required to produce any promised rewards.
At some point in an adult life, after the prizes have been won, the accomplishments achieved, the failures recovered from and the milestones of development have been passed, an opportunity presents itself to move from what serves the self and ego to recognizing that what fuels us with dreams of glory and praise as a possible accomplishment feels hollow and possibly pointless. Critical junctures in life are reached where we choose between what glorifies us or passing the baton on to someone else and giving them a chance to reach their potentials in the future. Teaching, and sharing the knowledge that only come from hard won, bitter experience as warnings to the people coming up behind you is the only other option and it comes from having different priorities. Priorities that extend beyond the self and embrace anyone around you needing what you have to share.
In life, it is a moment of truth. Have you actually learned enough to turn this corner and pass on something of value to others? Or has it all been a parade and show of glory with only superficial competency and development as your final accounting? The truth of who we are and who we have become in our development is revealed clearly to ourselves at this time.

From May 12th to May 15th, We have MAJOR developments slated to appear that will set the tone and theme for the summer. Pay attention to what happens at this time. Mercury will enter Gemini, its power position and Mars will enter Pisces while Saturn, Venus and Jupiter all go retrograde in succession like dominoes in a row falling.
Obviously, we were feeling Saturn, Jupiter and Venus going retrograde before this but these three planets changing direction within 3 days of each other while Mercury enters Gemini and Mars enters Pisces?
Its going to feel alot like someone shoving a stick between the spokes of a moving wheel on a bicycle.

Mercury is particularly important right now and the sabian symbol for it is: A glass bottomed boat reveals undersea wonders. Given its intense and important involvement with Mars in Pisces at this time and Saturn at 1* Aquarius. I suspect that aquatic life and biodiversity along with science should have some amazing discoveries right now from areas they thought they had already covered in adequate depth and surveillance and if we are lucky, it will be toward getting this pandemic in hand.
Otherwise, I would look for more issues with trade agreements, local and small community health being even more challenged (that second spike of COVID-19 from letting people out of "house arrest" may come sooner than they thought it would if this was a premature decision). I am also looking for major pronouncements of Big Brother or Government or the Corporazi, whatever you call it - to have even more aggressive attempts to control the population at this time since controlling the economy and broken agreements with neighbors and siblings (literally and symbolically) will be completely out of anyone's control at this point moving forward (for a few weeks). Expect pandemonium to accompany the pandemic as a real possibility in some places. If you live in an area where this is especially a hazardous situation to be in, make safety and evacuation plans now just to be on the safe side. Again, this week is a real preview for the summer. Pay attention to what is happening now. It is significant.
Once we get past this, we get a breather (by comparison) for the rest of the month.
May 22 - New Moon 2 Gemini

Also, Mercury and Venus will conjunct the fixed star Bellatrix. This fixed star is the female warrior and suggests that the rise of visible presence of female leadership in both our global lives as well as our personal lives will become larger than life AND well supported. Matriarchal values for the tribe will take front and lead for the entire tribe. The Goddess speaks through her daughters and we will all step into line with the greater truths that we are confronted with. Compassion and mercy in the face of undeniable realities and hard choices is the way of the Goddess. Then again, so is kicking ass and taking no prisoners when you have crossed one bridge too far. Bellatrix promises to reveal who the female warriors and tribal leaders are in our lives right now.
May 29 - Quarter Moon 8 Virgo
Progress happens in quantum leaps. Watch developments for China, Russia and Iran at this time.
We finish the month on a strong note. Mischevious mercury has finally left Gemini and moved into Cancer while the Moon sets up a moving grand trine by element to Uranus and then that miracle maker combination, Jupiter and Pluto. The greatest progress is often made on the turn of a dime without warning and begins quantum leaps of forward motion. We will end this month on much more solid footing than we had previously and a better feeling of security even though much continues to remain uncertain at this time.
Russia (USSR) is heading into its Saturn return as we speak right now. With the pandemic moving across all class lines in every corner of the globe, it will be interesting to see what happens to Putin as a result of this pandemic eating holes in his own political cabinets and turning it into swiss cheese. Vladimir Putin should be a significant player in events during both the week of May 12-15, 2020 and again, now under this quarter moon. Let's see what the world's greatest politician has on tap this month. His iron clad grip on his nation will not go undefeated forever and it appears that the unraveling of his golden years has begun with the oil wars and continues to erode with this pandemic. We'll see. The Capricorn alignment in January has not been kind to him and it isn't over yet but like any powerful animal that has been wounded, being vulnerable only inspires even more aggressive responses as a defense before they finally admit defeat. Let's hope COVID-19 gets to him before that can happen.
