Happy thought for July and a lesson in quantum physics!
So continuing to read this book on Quantum Physics. Apparently some experiments were done as a result of a lab mistake with unexplainable results that needed further investigation - which moved into the homeopathy hoodoo voodoo science that medical folks hate.
Turns out, water is not only a conductor of electricity, it is also a transmitter of information that allows instant and simultaneous reaction of multiple and various cells to a stimuli rather than the "lock and key" mechanism we are taught in anatomy and physiology or the "bumping around" sort of blind man's bluff that we are also taught that cells do in the process of reacting to something.
It is believed that water has memory and can be imprinted to such a degree that it will retain the "information" of a chemical even after every last trace molecule of the chemical has been removed (this was the experiment) causing nearby cells to react as if the chemical were actually present. Further, (as claimed by homeopathy), the weaker the dilution of the chemical up to (I think 1:10,000 dilution strength) - the STRONGER the effects of the chemical became.....
Your entire body is made of primarily water. Every tissue. Every cell. Soaking, bathing and filled with water.
And your thoughts and beliefs are forms of information just like physical stimuli (food, drugs, activity) are forms of information to your cells.
All of which is to say that your body hears everything you are thinking and there's more than a little truth to the whole metaphysical approach to healing.
If nothing else, at least you know someone is listening to you. :-)
